AHR EXPO MÉXICO® celebrates 30 years of bringing together, on one show floor, the industry that heats, cools and ventilates Mexico and Latin America. We celebrate in Mexico City with our 20th edition and a new brand identity: a logo that evolves just like the industry, without losing what made us recognizable.

OUR HISTORY

FROM PHILADELPHIA TO MEXICO: NEARLY A CENTURY OF HVACR

AHR EXPO MÉXICO® is part of the AHR Expo® family, which began in the United States in 1930. In 1997, that story crossed the border.

1911IECThe Stevens family founds International Exposition Company (IEC), which still organizes AHR Expo^® today.

1930Philadelphia · USAAHR Expo^® is born at the Commercial Museum, as part of the National Exposition of Power and Mechanical Engineering.

1947ASHRAEASHRAE joins as co-sponsor, bringing research, education and technical standards.

1970sAHRIAHRI joins as co-sponsor, representing manufacturers and product certification.

1997MonterreyFirst edition of AHR EXPO MÉXICO^®. More than half of the exhibitors come from other countries.

2006Sold outThe exhibit floor sells out in six months.

2008MonterreyMore than 9,000 professionals and more than 2,000 education program attendees.

2010Mexico CityExhibit floor completely sold out.

2012MonterreyTenth edition.

2015GuadalajaraFirst edition in western Mexico.

2021MonterreyWhile the U.S. show is canceled, Mexico opens its doors: more than 14,000 pre-registrations and more than 6,000 attendees.

2022Guadalajara25th anniversary. More than 300 exhibitors and more than 6,600 attendees.

2023Mexico CityMore than 11,000 professional attendees.

2025MonterreyThe largest edition: 17,523 attendees, 546 exhibitors and 20 countries.
